    Description

    Swimming Merit Badge -
    Type C - Tan Narrow Crimped,  This badge type was issued for 9 years between 1938 - 1946.  This patch has a crimp that is turned inward as issued by BSA.  This merit badge began in 1911 with the black and white swimmer design.  In 1958 a more colorful design included a pink swimmer with blue trunks.  In 1969, the design again changed to a partial swimmer in water, as it remains today.  Used condition!  Shipping & Handling are Free within USA!
