    Description

This piece dates to 1884-1909, and it is a Moritz Zdekauer cup and scalloped saucer in rare darker green and contrasting light pink glazes. Hand painted, this set shows some shelf and table wear on bottom edges. The gold rims are beautifully intact and there is no known visible crazing, no chips or nicks. The painting is subtle and delicate.
The china cup is gored with scalloped bottom and a delicate handle that does show some wear on the paint.
The saucer is scalloped and is designed with scrollwork and dimples between the rose paintings. The set is exquisite and rarely seen. Beautiful display pieces!
Cup measures 2" tall, with a 1 3/4" diameter base and a 3 3/4" diameter opening. The saucer measures 6" in diameter with a 3 1/2" diameter foot. Both pieces are marked with the "M. Z. Austria" stamp. No signatures.
Double boxed for safety. Free shipping and insurance.
