    Description

    Up for sale is a nice quality antique 19th century primitive wooden mortar and pestle.
    It's a large example made by hand with a lovely turned silhouette and has acquired a wonderful patina from age.
    It has its original hand carved wooden pestle with two different ends for grinding.
    The piece has normal ware from age and the mortar measures 7 3/4 inches tall by 6 1/4 inches wide.
    Its pestle measures 9 1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide.
    There is one hairline crack on the mortar and has some worm/holes and chips to one end of the pestle
