The Welk Group operates Interval International Five Star properties in Escondido, California near San Diego, and Palm Springs, California; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Branson, Missouri, (2) in Lake Tahoe, Nevada &  Breckenridge, Colorado and there are plans for a resort in Kauai, Hawaii being developed.
In addition Welk offers live theater entertainment in both San Diego and Branson as well as hotel accommodations in Branson, Missouri. Welk Resorts San Diego currently offers three vacation resorts: Lawrence Welk Resort Villas, Villas on the Greens, and Mountain Villas. These resorts feature luxurious, tastefully appointed two-bedroom accommodations (up to 1,400 square feet) with Jacuzzi, fireplaces, full kitchens, living rooms, and balconies or patios overlooking the lush golf courses and picturesque lakes.
HYATT VACATION CLUB PLATINUM PROGRAM UPDATE: APRIL 1, 2022
The name of the Welk Resorts Platinum Program will become the newly-branded Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program. With this step, the Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program and its eight boutique properties reach an important milestone in our journey together as part of the Hyatt Vacation Ownership family.
More than just a name change, we’ll be adding benefits that only a relationship with Hyatt could provide. Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program Owners will enjoy membership in the World of Hyatt
®
program, similar to the Hyatt Residence Club Portfolio Program Members today. Beginning with the 2023 Use Year, Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program Owners will be able to exchange for World of Hyatt Bonus Points, and Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program Owners enrolled in the World of Hyatt program are now eligible to earn and redeem World of Hyatt points for eligible ancillary purchases and stays at the Hyatt hotels and resorts around the world.* Participating resorts will be included on hyatt.com.**
How will this affect Hyatt Residence Club?
The Hyatt Residence Club Portfolio Program and Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program will continue to operate as two distinct point ownership products. As both clubs are affiliated with Interval International
®
, Hyatt Residence Club Owners may utilize Interval International to complete exchanges with a priority booking window and reduced exchange fee when traveling to the eight properties comprising the Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program. Hyatt Vacation Club Platinum Program Owners will only be able to access inventory that is deposited with Interval International by Hyatt Residence Club Owners and Hyatt Residence Club Portfolio Program members. This exchange capability is not expected to impact the volume of Hyatt Residence Club inventory available for your usage.
I would also like to reiterate that the Hyatt Vacation Ownership leadership team continues to focus on you, our loyal and valued Owners, listening to your feedback and working to improve your experiences. We recognize the uniqueness of your properties, as well as your ownership, and are committed to bringing you the best of vacation choices. As you will see below, we are pleased to announce some initial changes based on your feedback.
Hyatt/Welk Platinum Points can be Accrued/Rolled over. The owner must Accrue or roll over the points into the next year before August 31st and there is no cost. These points will be restricted to booking reservations 60 days or less prior to check in. You cannot Accrue or roll over the same points twice.

Closing times may vary by location of ownership; and while we make every effort to ensure the speedy delivery of your deed/membership, as a rule
delivery shall take a minimum of 90 days of and may take as long as 180 days
(depending on the resorts specific transfer process
) once all docs are submitted to the resort.
If you must have this item sooner than the above stated delivery schedule; please do not bid until speaking with us first! No exceptions!
Closing includes: Preparation of deed and state tax forms (when applicable to the transfer of your timeshare). After our legal department gathers and prepares the transfer documentation; we will deliver your deed to the appropriate county clerk or court to be recorded.  Lastly, a written notification of the transfer, and a copy of the recorded deed are delivered to the resort.
OUR GUARANTEE
We GUARANTEE that we will deliver you a clear and marketable title (or membership when applicable) to the property purchased in this auction within 180 days of all docs being sent to the resort. If title (or membership when applicable) is not conveyed within 180 days, of all docs being sent to the resort level, you may cancel the entire transaction in exchange for a full purchase price refund.
In addition if there is an encumbrance on the title, you may return the real property and receive a full (100%) refund.
RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL
ROFR IS A CLAUSE IN TIMESHARE CONTRACT THAT STATES THAT THE COMPANY THAT SOLD THE TIMESHARE HAS THE RIGHT TO GET IT BACK UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS. IF THE OWNERS ENTERS INTO AN AGREEMENT TO SELL THAT TIMESHARE TO A THIRD PARTY (BUYER X), THEN THE COMPANY HAS THE "RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL" ON THE CONTRACT.
NOT ALL MANAGEMENT COMPANY'S OR HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATIONS REQUIRE THE RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL. IN THE EVENT HILTON'S ROFR IS EXERCISED, VACATION WAREHOUSE, LLC WILL ISSUE A FULL REFUND TO BUYER.
