    Description

Early Japanese boy scout badge, from the remaining stock of the former British factory D. George Collins Ltd., placed in 118 Newgate St., London. Some of those were commissioned by an officer named  Y. Matsudaira
    D. George Collins Ltd. was a well known wholesale manufacturer of solid silver, electro-plate etc. Specialized in cutlery, medals, badges, trophies, hotel and ship plate.  Hand made embroidery and bullion badges, old style manufacture but terrific MINT condition as shown.
It stinks of moisture and chemicals from years gone by in a warehouse, but every effort has been made to remove the odor and a very gentle dry cleaning.
